Developer contributions should be made a legal requirement (rather than 'contributions sought') for mitigation including ecological mitigation. This should include costs for the capture and translocation of protected and Section 41 species of flora and fauna present at Middlewick that have limited or restricted mobility, i.e. are unlikely to colonise compensatory habitats readily.

'Developer contributions sought' is nowhere near strong enough. It should be a legal requirement enforceable with fines relative to the profits made by the developer concerned. In my experience, developers will avoid anything that might affect the profits they can make from building houses, hence why many of them fight hard to reduce the percentage obligation for affordable homes.
The Wick should be removed from the Local Plan completely.

The build on the wick can’t go ahead REDACTED many REDACTED suffer extremely with REDACTED mental health and the wick is REDACTED only escape , also it will have a massive impact on the wildlife , I also know a lot of people that have said they will not pay there rent if this goes ahead , for the 6 years I have lived here the wick has been my only escape REDACTED.
