Colchester City Council Preferred Options Local Plan Regulation 18 Consultation 2025
Policy PP29: Land East of School Road, Copford
Representation ID: 13165
Received: 13/01/2026
Respondent: Copford with Easthorpe Parish Council
The Parish Council are very concerned about the total number of homes
proposed-300 for PP29 and 1500 for PP17-6, 600 of which will be within the Copford with Easthorpe Parish Boundary-we are concerned about 132% increase in dwellings and exactly how and where the homes and necessary infrastructure can be delivered.
We do not believe this meet Section 2.19 of the Vision for the Local Plan, nor Objectives and Policies of our Neighbourhood Plan.
Infrastructure delivery, (water, wastewater, roads networks/Transport, health/well-being, environment, community and education) are not clearly addressed.
