However the Council wishes to note that an important consideration needs to be to ensure that the majority of the dwellings were affordable houses for many people in the local area. Representation Summary:

Dedham Parish Council would like to object to this major development. The Council feels that this major development has major implications not only for Langham but also for surrounding villages. There is currently not the infrastructure to support such development particularly in terms of water, sewage and other basic amenities.
A major consequence for Dedham is that Black Brook which runs from Langham through Dedham into the river stour will be significantly affected by the housing development with potentially major outflows which could result in significant flooding in Dedham.
