We hold various events on the airfield site. Some of these include visiting aircraft and some displays. The field for the proposed 900 homes is on the approach flight line these aircraft would use. The original main runway went over Park Lane and into this field. Our Museum promotes the heritage of this important site and we receive visitors from all over the world. A grass runway adjacent to Park Lane is used for visiting aircraft to take off and land. This proposal would seriously affect this activity.
