The concentration of red rated roads for gridlock across the whole of Colchester is clearly seen as being the highest in Stanway. The Parish Council suggest that when CCC is permitting the housing plans in the new local plan, new or improved infrastructure needs to be carried out in Stanway to avoid the current traffic system coming to a standstill. In that gridlock will be future ambulances and fire engines, placing a high risk on the lives of our residents.
