(11) Placemaking Engagement – Planning and Development Industry Questionnaire

Colchester City Council is launching the fifth phase of engagement in the Local Plan Review. This phase will focus on capturing ideas and thoughts on the pattern, scale, character and design quality of places. 

This questionnaire has been developed to get a better understanding of how design related policies are impacting the places that are delivered in Colchester and is aimed at those who deliver development across Colchester including developers/house builders, planning agents, urban designers, architects and other professionals within the built environment. 

A separate questionnaire is available for those who live, work or frequently visit Colchester. Which you may also wish to respond to. 

The questionnaire will take approximately 5 minutes to complete. You can complete all the questions at once or save your progress and return to complete the remaining questions at a later time. It is not mandatory to complete all questions, if you feel there are any that are not relevant to you, these can be skipped. 

All responses must be complete and submitted by Thursday 25 July 2024. 

Please note, where the term “Colchester” is used, this refers to the administrative area of Colchester. i.e the whole area covered by Colchester City Council.
