(24) Placemaking Engagement – Community Questionnaire

Colchester City Council is launching the fifth phase of engagement in the Local Plan Review. This phase will focus on capturing ideas and thoughts on the pattern, scale, character and design quality of places. 

The questionnaire has been divided into broad themes these include: 

  • Creating a Place 
  • Approaches to Future Development and Growth 
  • Homes 
  • Communities 
  • Employment 
  • Natural and Historic Environment 
  • Design 
  • Colchester City Centre 
  • Health and Wellbeing 

The questionnaire will take approximately 15 minutes to complete. You can complete all the questions at once or save your progress and return to complete the remaining questions at a later time. It is not mandatory to complete all questions, if there is a section you would prefer not to answer, is not of interest or relevant to you, this can be skipped. 

All responses must be complete and submitted by Thursday 25 July 2024.

This questionnaire is aimed at those who live, work and frequently visit Colchester. 

There is a separate questionnaire aimed at those working within the Planning and Development industry. 

Please note, where the term “Colchester” is used, this refers to the administrative area of Colchester. i.e the whole area covered by Colchester City Council.
